Storylines[]
He was once a ward of Marlena Evans that she had considered adopting with Don Craig. He thought of Marlena as his mother while living with her, though he never warmed up to Don. Following the death of her newborn son, DJ, Marlena had been uneasy around children. It wasn't until Johnny came into her life that she was able to start healing and warmed back up to the idea of having kids. Johnny also had a strong connection with Joshua Fallon as well as Kellam Chandler. Kellam, though mentally unstable toward the end of his life, thought of Johnny as his own son, and even made plans to include him in his will, however this was all rooted to Kellam's unhealthy obsession with Marlena.
