Bo pocketed the cash and was then told by J.L. King's goon, Max, that J.L. King wanted to see him. J.L. King had Bo picking up the cash on tape and he blackmailed Bo into stealing the evidence the D.A. had on him from Abe. Bo met with Abe later and told him the plan to trap J.L. King worked. Bo tells Abe what he has to do and Abe informs Bo that he can't help Bo at all, he really had to sneak into the station and steal the evidence. Bo eventually stole the evidence and returned it to J.L. King. Billie became concerned about Bo's involvement with J.L. King and hid in King's office during a meeting between Bo and Kind. J.L. King found her and almost killed both her and Bo, but Bo claimed that Billie was his lover and she was just being nosey, but she could be trusted. Later, Bo met with Abe and they decided to put Billie into a witness protection program. Billie was about to leave town, but felt something was wrong and went to J.L. King's office. Bo was with King and King was just about to kill Bo because Billie was missing and he feared Bo was double-crossing him. Billie stopped King from Killing Bo by claiming they had a fight and she ran off. Unfortunately, J.L. already had Max plant a bomb at the Horton house, but Bo managed to diffuse it. Bo moved in with Billie to make their relationship look real. When Shawn D. walked in on a drug deal at school, he was shot by the dealer. Shawn D. was rushed to the hospital and was okay. J.L. King became worried about Bo's feelings for Hope and surprised him with an engagement ring that he was to give Billie. Bo had no choice but to propose to Billie, who accepted. Bo is hell bent on vengeance and learns that the guy who shot Shawn D., Viper, worked for J.L. King. Viper, however, refused to talk and was later killed by Max. Hope was angry with Bo, who wouldn't do anything about the drug problem, so she set out to bring down the drug ring herself. Hope learned about a drug shipment and tried to bust it. Unfortunately, the bust failed and the shipment was called off, which ruined Bo's one chance to nail King. Hope further became a problem when she saw Billie with Max, who was a known drug dealer. Hope suspected that Billie was back on drugs. While at the Horton house, Billie dropped some drugs that Max had given her at the Snake Pit. Later, a cop came over to question Shawn D. about his shooting. The cop found the pills and thought they were Shawn D's, but Billie interjected and said they were hers. Billie was arrested and while in jail she was stabbed by someone working for King. J.L. King warned Bo that if he betrayed him, Hope and Billie would both die. Bo and Billie were sent to Rome to pick up a drug shipment for J.L. King. Bo and Billie were unaware that Hope and Franco were also in Rome. J.L. King and Max came to Rome and decided to surprise Bo and Billie by arranging a wedding for them. Upon learning that Hope was also in Rome, J.L. King arranged for Hope and Franco to act as Bo and Billie's witnesses. Bo and Billie were married on Bo met up with an Interpol agent about busting King. Unfortunately, the agent was dirty and exposed Bo and Billie to King. King had Bo and Billie kidnapped and brought aboard a ship and planned to kill them and dump their bodies overboard. Aboard J.L. King's boat, Billie managed to jump overboard and return with the Rome Police. J.L. King and Mac were both busted. Max got out of jail and kidnapped Billie. He pumped her full of drugs because he thought that nobody would believe a junkie in court when she testified against J.L. King. Billie's mother, Kate Roberts, became concerned about Billie when she hadn't heard from her. Bo also became concerned and went back to Rome to look for Billie. After Max had gotten Billie hooked back on drugs he let her go and told her the name of some clubs where she could score some drugs. Eventually, Max was recaptured. Max and J.L. King were brought back to the US to stand trial. The police force tried to turn Max against King in order for a reduced sentence, but he refused. When Hope came into the station, Max decided to get back at Billie by ruining her reputation. Max told Hope that Billie was a junkie again.

Although adoptive half-brother Alexander's nanny, J.J. Bagwood and Stanley Krakowski were their parents, the boys were soon adopted by Justin and Adrienne Kiriakis, because Adrienne hadn't had any luck getting pregnant. Stanley and J.J. had changed their mind and were ready to take the boys back...until they saw how much Justin and Adrienne loved them, and how well they would provide for them. Shortly thereafter, Justin and Adrienne took their brood to Texas, where their brother Jackson was born. Although never shown on-screen, Joey returned to Salem in 2007 with his parents and brothers. Along with his siblings, he attended Salem High School. His time in town was short lived, however, and by January 2008 the entire family moved again - this time to Dubai.

Johnny Corelli was portrayed by Antony Alda from 1990-91. Johnny was introduced to the Salem scene as part of Ernesto Toscano's plan to destroy Victor and recover Loretta's diary. Ernesto had kidnapped Bo, and hired a plastic surgeon to alter the faces of Bo Brady and a renegade ISA agent, Johnny Corelli, so that Corelli could infiltrate Salem and do Ernesto's dirty work. Bo not only managed to convince Johnny not to go through with it, he also convinced the plastic surgeon to tell Ernesto that it had been done, so Bo was released and sent back to Salem, with Ernesto believing it was actually Johnny. Johnny escaped and also went to Salem. Shortly after arriving in Salem, Johnny got himself involved with Victor Kiriakis, and became yet another one of his lackeys. He hooked up with his brother, Nick, but it soon became a case of sibling rivalry when they both began fighting for the love of the same woman, April Ramírez. When Nick was murdered at the Jencon plant on Halloween night, Johnny was one of the prime suspects (along with Victor Kiriakis and April Ramírez). Johnny's harassment of Whitney Baker, a police psychiatrist, did not help much, as Roman became more convinced than ever that Johnny was guilty. Johnny could have cleared himself when the police began suspecting Justin Kiriakis, who admitted to arguing with Nick that night, but he chose to step forward and testify that he saw Justin leaving the refinery while Nick was still alive. With the investigation at a standstill yet again, Tanner Scofield came forward and claimed to have seen Eve Donovan at the refinery that night, leading to her arrest. Roman soon discovered that Tanner had lied, because he was also being harassed by Johnny (Tanner was also a patient of Whitney Baker's). Unfortunately, he couldn't prove it. When a number of Salemnites boarded a train they had heard carried the gun that killed Nick Corelli, Johnny hired a man named Harry Hill to sabotage it, and he eventually detached the car from the rest of the train. Roman was finally able to prove there was a connection between Harry and Johnny when Isabella revealed that Johnny made a number of calls to Harry from her private phone line. Johnny finally admitted that he had harassed Whitney and Tanner and hired Harry, but swore he did not kill his brother. Roman sent him to jail anyway, but soon realized that if Johnny didn't do it, he had to be protecting somebody. Roman figured out that the killer could be only one person...April Ramírez, the woman whom Johnny and Nick had both loved, and who was Johnny's only friend in Salem. When questioned, April admitted that she had been there that night, that she had seen Nick, and that she had even pointed a gun at him, but she didn't kill him...Jo Johnson was the one who had killed him, seeking revenge for Nick because she believed he was responsible for her son Steve's death. Although April and Johnny had been running Wings together and growing closer, realizing the depths of Johnny's illegal activities eventually drove April out of his life. She couldn't deal with the fact that he was involved in so many dirty deals. She left Salem and went to New York. Johnny Corelli floated around for awhile before eventually leaving Salem, although he did do one good thing with the time he had left in that town...he had located Anjelica Deveraux and her son, Alexander, and convinced Anjelica that Alexander would be better off with his father, Justin, and stepmother Adrienne. He brought the boy back to Salem and returned him to his delighted father, who had thought his son was dead.

Jack finds the deed and reads it, but Jude knocks him out and also knocks over a lantern, which causes the pavilion to go up in flames. Later, Peter pays Jude off with a matchbook that contains the numbers to a bank account in the Cayman Islands. Jude attempts to leave Aramid, but he is found by Jen. Jude kidnaps her and ties her up in an abandoned warehouse. Jude is spotted in the woods by Jack, but he gets away when Jude warns him that he has Jennifer. Bo takes flight in a helicopter and upon hearing it nearby, Hope starts a fire in the cabin that Jude is holding her in. Bo goes searching for the cabin, but is lost in a snowstorm. Jennifer Blake, Peter Blake, Jack Deveraux, and Mike Horton come looking for Bo and eventually find him. Bo escapes his sickbed and finds Hope, who has escaped from Jude. Jude shows up and shoots Bo, hitting him in the arm. Peter and Jack show up as well and Jack witnesses Peter shoot Jude St. Clair in cold blood. Peter claims he was defending himself and everyone else believes it. They all return to Salem shortly after.

Lynn fell for Jonah Carver, but she eventually gave up on him when she realized that he had a thing for his sister-in-law Lexie Carver. When she learned about Sami's 'love' for Austin, she told her about a drug that she had used in the past to get a guy into bed with her (a form of Rhohypnol, the date rape drug). Sami used this drug to seduce Austin, and when Lynn learned that Sami was pregnant, she blackmailed her. Sami managed to get Lucas to pull some strings and have Lynn sent off to an exotic location, but by 1996, she was back, hired by Kate to look after Victor, who had become catatonic after having a stroke. She returned to blackmailing Sami and Lucas, and when they ran out of money, she turned them in to Kate.

After her time with the Kiriakis family was finished, Lynn took a position working for Stefano DiMera. He hired her to act as Laura Horton's private nurse, and to keep supplying her with pills that would suppress her memories (she knew that Peter Blake was alive, and that Kristen wasn't really pregnant). Even though Laura told Lynn she didn't need her or the pills anymore, she was under Stefano's orders to keep Laura too drugged to talk, which then led to Laura being unconscious for a long period of time. After not hearing from Stefano in quite some time, Lynn asked Kristen what she should do. Kristen (who was in fact Susan impersonating Kristen) told Lynn to take Laura off the drugs, which she did. Later, when Lynn learned that Stefano had returned to town and was planning to kidnap Laura, she helped Laura escape from the hospital, as she had begun to feel badly for her. Lynn then mysteriously disappeared.

Later, Vivian and Ivan became suspicious about Kristen's behavior, not aware that she was actually Susan. Susan told them that Susan had left town, so she didn't need their help any longer. While walking back to her convent, Sister Mary was accosted by Vivian and Ivan, who were convinced that she was Susan. When Sister Mary informed them she was Susan's twin sister, she forced them to perform penance by scrubbing the floors of the convent. In exchange for doing this, Sister Mary promised not to turn them into the police.

Eventually, Susan's attempt to become Kristen unraveled and the truth came out. Susan moved into Marlena's penthouse with John Jr, whose real name is Little Elvis. Susan's sister, Sister Mary Moira demanded that Susan tell her who her baby's father was. Susan finally blurted out that Elvis was the father of her baby.

Susan went to get her brother, Thomas (the third triplet), to help her steal back little Elvis. However, Sister Mary Moira stopped Thomas before he could do anything sinful to Kristen. When Stefano learned what Kristen had done he was outraged and helped John steal back little Elvis and return him to Susan.

Celeste began to see visions of Kristen DiMera being murdered. After she was found sleeping in the park by Sister Mary Moira, Celeste went to St. Monica's convent to rest. Sister Mary told Celeste that something evil was happening to her and she should pray to God to save her soul.

Molly Brinker was raised by her grandfather in a quiet and peaceful mountain cabin. Molly vaguely remembered her mother, but her grandfather had told Molly that her mother abandoned her. Molly met up with Eve Donovan one day and instructed Eve on how to get out of the valley Eve and her friends were stranded in. After Molly's grandfather died, Molly decided to venture out into the world and find this place called Salem. Upon arriving in Salem, Molly spoiled Eve's status as a heroine by saying that she gave Eve the directions to get out of the valley. With no job and no place to stay, Julie Williams offered Molly a room at her penthouse. Julie also gave Molly a job working as a waitress at Wings. Molly befriended the bartender at Wings, Tanner Scofield, and Tanner was determined to help Molly find her long lost mom. All Molly had to go on was a wedding picture of her mother with her father torn out of it. Tanner did some checking up and learned that Molly's mother was also looking for her and she was in Salem! Molly's mother was Ginger Dawson, a waitress at the Cheatin' Heart which Molly despised. Ginger had already located Molly when she waitressing a party at Julie William's penthouse. Ginger saw the torn wedding photo of herself, but she didn't come forward out of fear. Tanner wanted to tell Molly the truth, but when he learned the danger it would place Molly in, he decided not to. Ginger told Tanner her and Molly's story. Ginger, whose real name was Genevieve, had married Rusty Hawkins, against the wishes of her father. Ginger and her husband had one child, Molly, but Ginger's husband died unexpectedly. Molly was set to inherit the Hawkins' fortune, but Ginger's husband's father, Alston Hawkins, her husband's son from a previous relationship, Hawk, to inherit the fortune. However, Molly stood in the way. Alston threatened Ginger and Molly's lives, so Ginger went on the run. Ginger took Molly back to her father's cabin in the mountains because she knew Molly would be safe there. However, when Ginger tried to reclaim Molly, her father wouldn't let her have the child back and he chased Ginger away. Ginger knew that Alston Hawkins and his grandson Hawk were in town and if they discovered that Molly was her daughter, the Hawkins may cause harm to Molly because they'd be forced to give her the family fortune. Alston and his grandson Hawk were con-artists who traveled from town to town milking people of their money and they wouldn't allow Molly to inherit the fortune they had collected over the years. Both Ginger and Tanner decided that it was best that Molly didn't know the truth, for now. Once the Hawkins gang was safely out of Salem, Ginger and Molly were reunited. Molly began going to school at Salem University, but was having problems with a male professor there. Molly was being sexually harassed by a Professor Gavin. Molly told this to Tanner, who recognized the name as being a professor his mother worked for a long time ago. Tanner went to Brian and his father Vern and demanded to know what happened to his mother. Brian and Vern told Tanner that Mrs. Scofield had been raped and committed suicide. Tanner put two and two together and figured out that it was Professor Gavin who raped his mother. Ginger and Tanner forced a confession out of Gavin, who was convicted and sent to jail. Molly and Tanner hooked up romantically and headed for Chicago with Molly's mom Ginger and her new boyfriend, Brian Scofield.

Rachel Blake was portrayed by Pat Delany from 1995-96. Rachel Blake first appeared as the fabled Woman in White that haunted Aremid. Rachel lived in the Blake House and felt threatened when Peter Blake returned to Aremid with his bride to be, Jennifer Deveraux. Rachel thought that Peter was her late husband and she attempted to kill Jennifer twice. The first time she shut a flue in the fireplace after Jen made a fire and fell asleep. The second time she choked Jen at the Blake house. When Jennifer fell down a hole and ended up missing, Rachel dragged her to safety within the underground caves and attempted to take care of her. Jen was frightened of her, but Rachel apologized fro trying to harm her earlier. Eventually, Peter and Jack rescued her. When John Black came to Aremid, Rachel recognized him.

John was soon framed for the murder of Tony DiMera, but Rachel saw what really happened and she took Tony's journal. Unfortunately, Stefano DiMera found Rachel's hiding place in the Blake house and stole back the diary. Rachel wanted to help John, so she made herself known to Marlena. Rachel told Marlena that Stefano was evil once again and was hiding Tony's diary, which would prove John's innocence. John is sentenced to die and on the night of John's, Stefano dined with Marlena Brady at the Blake House. Marlena managed to get Tony's diary and give it to the Woman in White. The Woman in White dropped it on the way to the courthouse, but Jack Deveraux found it and got it there in time to save John from the gas chamber. Kristen manages to convince the Woman in White, who had remembered her past but kept it to herself, to return to Salem with her and live in the DiMera Mansion. Marlena put John under hypnosis because he believed he knew who the Woman in White was. Under hypnosis, John told everyone that she was Rachel Blake, Kristen and Peter's mother. Rachel was being pursued by Stefano DiMera and Rachel called John, who was a young priest, over to her house to talk about Stefano. Stefano eventually planted a bomb in Rachel's husband's car, but Rachel was also in the car when the bomb went off. Rachel lived, but was badly scarred.

Stefano believed that Rachel was dead and he kidnapped and brainwashed John because John knew that Stefano killed the Blake's. The Woman denied this claim at first, but later admits that it is true. Rachel was reunited with her children. However, Rachel knows the evils they have both done in the name of love and urges them to tell the truth. John went under the drug a second time and this time Kristen asked John, while everyone else was out of the room, if he loved Kristen or Marlena more. John answered Marlena, which infuriated her.

Stefano returned to town and Kristen agreed to help him kidnap Marlena. Marlena and Rachel were to fly to San Francisco so that Rachel could have her face reconstructed. Kristen gave Stefano the plane they were to take and he attempted to hi-jack the plane, but was forced to flee when the police learned that Stefano was in Salem from Hope's case. Rachel learned what Kristen had done and was appalled that she was going to allow Stefano to kidnap her. Kristen told her mom that Stefano was supposed to release her and only take Marlena.

Marlena and Rachel made plans for another trip and Marlena gave Kristen a list she was to obey. Kristen was not to sleep with John and she was not to wear his engagement ring. Stefano arranged for himself to be captured, so it appeared that Marlena and Rachel were safe to fly to San Francisco. After their plane took off, John learned that the man they captured was wearing a latex mask. Upon searching the DiMera Mansion they found Rachel Blake bound and gagged. Stefano, disguised as Rachel, had snuck onboard the plane with Marlena. Stefano faked a plane crash which convinced Salem that Marlena and Stefano had both died. Celeste gave John the location of some of Stefano's warehouses and in one he found a game entitled Queen of the Night as well as a set of strange goggles.

John brought the game home, but left the goggles at the warehouse. Upon wearing the goggles, John saw Marlena being held prisoner in a cage. John was positive that Marlena was alive and he believed the game told where she was being held. Rachel felt that she may know where Stefano took Marlena, so she has Laura put her under hypnosis. While under, Rachel revealed that Peter was involved with Jude St. Clair. Laura confronted Peter about this, but she decided to keep it to herself in order not to hurt Jen. Eventually, Rachel Blake learned that the game took place in Paris and she suggested to John that he take Kristen to Paris on a vacation.

John read a newspaper about a Paris street carnival and recognized the outfits as one that Marlena was wearing when he used the goggles. Positive that Marlena was in Paris, John flew there. Kristen and Rachel followed when Stefano sent them a forged fax from John asking them to come to Paris. John was kidnapped by Stefano and taken down to the Paris Underground with Marlena. Kristen decided to find the Paris Underground to try to save John and her mother, Rachel, insisted on going. An explosion in the underground buried Kristen and Rachel, but Abe and Lexie managed to save them. They all searched for John and Lexie. When the found him, John had a gun and was holding it on Stefano. Marlena was hurt during the explosion and John gave his gun to Rachel to hold on Stefano so he could carry Marlena.
